Abraham Weitzman

Abraham Weitzman is a young adult based in New York, studying non-fiction writing at Columbia University. Weitzman was diagnosed with FOXG1 Syndrome at 19 years old. He is non-verbal, non-ambulatory, and is unable to use his hands for purposeful movement. He communicates using his chest to maneuver a custom switch device connected to custom software, together called "Tell Us Abey," developed by his father. Weitzman is a contributing writer at Rare Parenting, and also writes for KidSpirit and Chalkbeat.
